Exchange programs

To promote study-related stays abroad, the KIT Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology maintains and coordinates many international cooperations. We maintain several structured exchange programs and many other important contacts to enable our students to spend time abroad. At the same time, we offer a wide range of opportunities for international students who wish to study for a degree with us or to complete a guest study program.

German-French Double Master

Do you want to immerse yourself completely in a foreign culture? In this program you will study in a joint group with your French fellow students at the Grande Ecole Phelma in Grenoble. In addition to excellent language skills, you will acquire two internationally recognized Master's degrees. For this you will spend 3-4 semesters of your entire Bachelor-Master studies in Grenoble. Double Bachelor between KIT and Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME).

In June 2018, the KIT Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) deepened their long-standing cooperation by signing a contract for another exchange program.

Internship or Bachelor Thesis in Fairbanks, Alaska

There is a long-standing cooperation between the IHE and the Geophysical Institute of the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, in which projects and internships for students in the field of Radio Frequency/Aerospace Engineering can be carried out. This takes place within the framework of a normally six-month stay in Fairbanks, Alaska. Further information can be found here.
